EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES At WCHS

At WCHS you will find an extensive and varied program of student extracurricular activities, one in which every student can have a place. On the following pages, you will find just what organizations and activities may be beneficial to you. Each has its’ own special rules for membership or participation. All share the philosophy that when a student joins the organization, he/she is making a commitment to participate in meetings and organization functions. While you don’t want to get so involved that your school work suffers, neither do you want to miss all the fun, friendship, and valuable training to be derived from a well-balanced curricular interest.

Nonpublic students, including parochial and home schooled students, will not be allowed to participate in extracurricular activities regardless of whether they attend a District school part-time (Board Policy 7:40). Any questions about extracurricular activities should be referred to Lindsay Winter.
